EXPLORE CAVES OF HELLA IN A LUXURY TOUR

A private luxury cave experience offers a great way to explore the historical Caves of Hella. Included in the luxury tour is private guidance, whisky, gin and mead sampling and delicacies, all made locally.

You will be guided by your own private guide around three mysterious man-made historic caves and peer into two. The caves are thought to be Iceland's oldest still standing archaeological remains. Some believe they date further back then the settlement era of the Vikings in Iceland. You will explore the many wonders the caves hold and learn about their history and saga's by in-depth insights and stories from your dedicated guide.
 

While exploring the caves, you will have the opportunity to sample Icelandic Flóki Whisky and VOR premium gin. You will learn about the processes involved in creating spirits from Icelandic barley. The barley is grown in a nearby farm. Flóki Whisky is the first and only whisky produced in Iceland. 

You will also have the opportunity to sample mead from the Icelandic meadery Öldur. 
Finally, you will be offered delicacies from the region.

The Luxury Tour is bookable for private groups only and needs to be booked in advance. The tour will take approximately 90 minutes.
